The best things to do in Port Douglas

The top attraction in Port Douglas has to be the famous Four Mile Beach.  Visitors often explore this stretch of stand and sea by foot or bike.  Either of which is best done in the morning while the air is still crisp.  Pack your bag with refreshments and snacks before leaving your hotel room for an early morning walk, run or bike ride.  Take as many breaks as you like along the way to enjoy your surroundings.  There are cafés at both ends of the route which will take about 45 minutes one way if you walk or 15 minutes one way if you hire a bike.  Don’t forget to put your swimwear on under your clothes.  You’re bound to hear that perfect water calling your name!

Make your way up Flagstaff Hill and get the best view of the Four Mile Beach.  Watch the brilliant blue water meet the shore and the lush green forests to complete the perfect landscape.
